Understanding Our
Process and Heartbeat
Firstly, kudos to you for chasing your musical dreams - we admire your passion! We love listening to new tunes from local artists. However, let's keep it real: the sheer volume of submissions we receive means we can’t give every song the airtime it might deserve. We may not be able to listen to every single submission, but we give as many as we can a fair shake. If we find that your music is a good fit for our UCB Radio family, we'll move mountains to get in touch! If you don’t hear back from us, it’s not a reflection of your talent. We wish you nothing but success on your musical journey!
Ready to Share Your Music?
UCB Radio is all about Christian Adult Contemporary music. Our genre spans from pop (For King & Country, Lauren Daigle, Danny Gokey), pop/rock (Zach Williams, Skillet, Switchfoot), pop/R&B (Tauren Wells, Austin French, Stars Go Dim), Contemporary (Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Chris Tomlin), to Worship (Hillsong, Elevation, Bethel). If your music resonates with these sounds, we might just be a match made in heaven!
Quality is king! We strive to compete with top-notch radio stations, so excellent production is crucial. Even the most talented artists can be overshadowed by less than professional production. Investing in high-quality production can really help your music shine and stand out in a crowded musical landscape.
We’ll need a high-quality .wav file. MP3s and links are great for screening but for airing, we need the good stuff. The better the quality, the better it sounds to our listeners.
If your song doesn’t make it on UCB Radio, it doesn’t mean you aren’t talented or that we don’t appreciate your music. It simply means it doesn’t fit our current song catalog. We’re still cheering for you and hoping God uses your music, and your many other gifts, for His kingdom!
Most weeks, UCB Radio receives a huge number of songs and our team, though small, has big ears and bigger hearts. Due to the high volume of music we receive, we can’t promise reviews, replies, or on-air spins. If your song catches our ears and fits well, you’ll hear from us. If not, no hard feelings, and keep making great music!
